US equity market ended on a positive note on Monday with the NASDAQ Composite leading the way. The S&P 500 settled a bit behind the tech-heavy index while the Dow Jones Industrial Average struggled to turn positive. Investors did not receive any economic news today and tomorrow's data is limited to the existing home sales report for September 2014.
